These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the use of the website and video editing services provided by Sajexa. By placing an order or otherwise using this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before submitting an order.
This website is operated by Sajexa ("Sajexa", "we", "us", "our"), a business established in England.
If you have any questions about these Terms, or about an order you have placed, please contact us using the details above.
Sajexa provides video editing services for social media content, including but not limited to trimming, colour correction, captioning, transitions, sound design, and formatting of footage supplied by clients for publication on social media platforms. The exact scope of each order is agreed with the client in writing (including by email) before work begins.
Orders may be placed through the website's order form, by email, or by any other method we make available. An order constitutes an offer by you to purchase services from us. No contract exists between you and Sajexa until we send you a written confirmation of your order (an "Order Confirmation"), which may be sent by email.
The Order Confirmation will set out the scope of work, the agreed price, and the estimated delivery timeframe. It is your responsibility to check the details in the Order Confirmation and notify us promptly of any errors.
We reserve the right to decline any order, for example where the requested content is unlawful, infringes third-party rights, or falls outside the services we offer.
All prices are quoted in pounds sterling (GBP) and are displayed or communicated to you prior to order confirmation. Unless stated otherwise, prices include the editing work specified in the order but exclude any additional revisions, licensing fees for third-party music or footage, or expedited delivery charges, which will be quoted separately if requested.
Payment is due in accordance with the terms stated in the Order Confirmation, which may require full or partial payment in advance. We accept payment by the methods indicated on the website or agreed with you directly. Work will not commence, or final files will not be released, until payment has been received in full, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
You may request to cancel an order before work has commenced by contacting us at [email protected]. If work has already begun, we may charge for the proportion of work completed up to the point of cancellation.
If you are a consumer contracting with us at a distance (for example, through this website), you may have a statutory right to cancel your order within 14 days of the contract being formed, under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. Please note that if you request that work begin before the end of this 14-day period, and we complete the service in full, you may lose your right to cancel once the service is fully performed. Where you request early performance and later cancel before completion, you may be required to pay for the services provided up to the point of cancellation.
If you are unhappy with the delivered work, please contact us within a reasonable time at [email protected], describing the issue in detail. We will review your complaint and aim to respond within a reasonable timeframe, offering revisions, corrections, or another appropriate remedy where we consider this justified.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability which cannot be excluded or limited under the law of England and Wales.
Subject to the above, Sajexa shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, loss of business opportunity, or loss of reputation arising out of or in connection with the services provided. Our total liability arising out of or in connection with any order shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for that order.
We are not liable for delays or failures in performance resulting from causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to technical failures, delays by third-party platforms, or failure by you to supply required materials or information in a timely manner.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, ownership of the final edited video files will transfer to you upon payment in full. You confirm that you hold the necessary rights to any footage, images, or music supplied to us for editing, and you agree to indemnify Sajexa against any claims arising from a breach of this warranty.
