We edit and format video for the main short-form and long-form platforms used by businesses and creators: vertical formats for Reels, TikTok and Shorts, square and landscape formats for feeds, and widescreen exports for YouTube. Each platform has different aspect ratios, safe zones for text and maximum file sizes, so we prepare separate export versions rather than uploading one file everywhere. If you are unsure which formats you need, tell us your target platforms during the initial request and we will confirm the exact specifications before editing starts.

Turnaround depends on the length and complexity of the footage. A single short-form clip under 60 seconds with basic cuts, captions and colour correction is usually returned within 2 to 3 working days. Multi-clip projects with motion graphics, sound design or multiple platform versions typically take 4 to 6 working days. We reply to every new request within 3 hours during business hours to confirm a firm delivery date before work begins, so you know the schedule upfront rather than guessing.

We work with footage recorded on smartphones, DSLR and mirrorless cameras, action cameras and drones. Accepted file types include MP4, MOV, and MKV, along with common raw formats from most modern cameras. Audio can be supplied separately as WAV or MP3 if recorded on an external microphone. Files are shared through a cloud link rather than email attachments, since raw footage is usually too large for standard inboxes. We will send you upload instructions after your first enquiry.

Editing is our core service, but a number of our 14 offered services cover pre-production support such as shot list planning and caption scripting for short-form content. If you already have raw footage, we work directly from that. If you are starting from scratch, we can advise on shot pacing and structure before you film, which usually reduces the amount of re-shooting needed later. Ask us which package includes planning support when you send your request.

Yes. Captions are generated first using speech-to-text software, then manually checked and corrected by an editor before styling. Automatic transcription alone often misreads names, technical terms or accents, so we do not deliver uncorrected captions. Styling includes font, colour and animation choices that match your brand, plus positioning that avoids platform interface elements such as like buttons or usernames on mobile screens.

Pricing is based on final video length, number of platform versions needed, and the amount of raw footage to review. A single short-form clip with basic captions and colour grading starts from a fixed rate quoted after reviewing your footage. Projects with multiple versions, motion graphics or voiceover recording cost more due to added editing time. We always confirm a fixed quote in GBP before starting work, so there are no surprise charges once editing is underway.

Yes, many of our clients send footage weekly or monthly rather than as one-off projects. Of the 792 clients we have worked with since 2015, 167 returned for further jobs, and a portion of these are on a recurring basis. Recurring arrangements are quoted per batch of videos rather than as a flat monthly fee, since footage volume varies from month to month. We can discuss a rough monthly estimate once we understand your usual filming frequency.

A standard edit covers footage review and selection, cutting for pacing, colour correction, basic audio levelling, caption placement and export in the requested platform format. It does not automatically include custom motion graphics, voiceover recording or multi-language subtitles, which are offered as add-ons. We list what is and is not included in the quote we send you, so there is no ambiguity about what you are paying for before work starts.

Every project includes two rounds of revisions as standard, covering changes such as adjusting cut points, swapping music, or correcting caption timing. Additional revision rounds beyond that are billed at an hourly rate agreed in advance. Most projects need only one round in practice, since we confirm brief details and reference examples with you before editing begins, which reduces back-and-forth later.

Yes. If you send us brand assets such as your logo, colour codes and font files, we build a reusable template using those elements for caption styling, lower thirds and outros. This template is then applied consistently across future videos, which keeps your channel looking coherent even when different editors on our 12-person team work on different batches of footage.

We use royalty-free music and sound effect libraries that are cleared for commercial and social media use, so you do not need to source your own tracks. If you have a specific song in mind, we can advise on whether it is likely to trigger a copyright claim on the platform you are posting to, since music licensing rules differ between platforms and change periodically.

After you contact us and we confirm the scope of work, we send a secure upload link for cloud transfer. This avoids the file size limits of email and keeps your original footage available in case a re-edit is needed later. Files are stored only for the duration of the project plus a short retention period, after which they are removed unless you request otherwise.

Editing itself is done remotely from footage you upload, so location within the UK is not a barrier to receiving edited videos. However, our base is in Leeds and we currently cover 9 districts and surrounding areas directly for services that involve in-person filming support or on-site consultation. If you are outside these areas but only need remote editing, we can usually still take on the project.

We apply stabilisation and exposure correction where possible, but there are limits to what editing can fix. Severe motion blur, extreme underexposure in dark footage, or very low resolution recordings cannot be fully corrected without visible quality loss. If we identify a problem during footage review, we will flag it before editing and suggest a workaround, such as using a shorter usable segment or supplementing with stock footage where appropriate.

Yes, this is one of our most common requests. A single filming session, for example a half-day shoot, is often cut down into several separate short-form videos covering different topics or angles. This is quoted per finished video rather than per session, since editing time depends on how much footage needs reviewing per final cut, not just on the length of the original recording.

Voiceover recording is one of the additional services we offer alongside core editing. We can record narration in a treated space to reduce background noise, or work from a voiceover file you record yourself and send us for cleanup and syncing to the visuals. If you need script writing support first, mention this when you contact us so we can plan the recording session accordingly.

We reply to all requests within 3 hours during business hours, Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 18:00, so urgent jobs get an early answer on whether we can fit them in. Rush turnaround, where possible, is offered as a priced add-on rather than a guaranteed default, since it depends on current workload across our team of 12 editors. Contact us directly by phone for the fastest response on time-sensitive work.

Yes, once the project is paid for in full, ownership of the finished video transfers to you, and you are free to post, repurpose or edit it further as you wish. Any stock music or sound effects used are licensed for commercial use as part of the project, so no separate licensing fee is owed by you afterwards. We keep a project archive for our own reference unless you request deletion.

Fill in the contact form or call us on +44 113 837 8445 during business hours. Tell us roughly how much footage you have, which platforms you are targeting and your rough timeline. We reply within 3 hours with either a quote or a request for more detail if needed. Since 2015 we have completed 978 jobs for 792 clients across 9 districts, so most enquiries follow a familiar pattern and can be quoted quickly.

We accept bank transfer and card payment in GBP. For larger recurring arrangements, invoicing is issued on a per-batch basis with agreed payment terms. For one-off projects, we typically request a deposit before editing starts and the remaining balance on delivery of the final files. Full details are confirmed in writing as part of the quote before any work begins.
